****TOMY Company, Ltd., in conjunction with the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission, has announced a voluntary recall of certain Pokémon plush, bean bag and key chain dolls.
These toys may contain the tips of sewing needles broken during manufacture, posing a puncture or choking hazard to young children.

****The recall involves 13 Pokémon characters.
They are described below with their photo.
All recalled toys have a sewn-in label reading "TOMY".
There also is a production code on the toy's label that begins with a letter and is followed by two numbers.
The following production codes are included in the recall: A04, B04, C04, D03, D04, E03, E04, F03, F04, G03, G04, H03, I03, J03, K03, and L03.

****Pokémon dolls and toys similar to TOMY #3084, Plush Bean Bag Torchic, TOMY #3085, Plush Bean Bag Treecko, and TOMY #3087 Plush Bean Bag Mudkip have been sold by Hasbro in the United States.
Furthermore, other manufacturers and retailers may have sold similar items around the United States.
These items are not affected.

****TOMY has stopped all sales of its Pokémon plush, bean bags and key chains dolls in the United States and Canada.
Only TOMY Pokémon plush, bean bag and key chain dolls sold after January 1, 2004 are affected.
Other than some promotional give-aways, all of the affected items were sold at The Pokémon Center store in Rockefeller Plaza in New York City, and on-line through the www.pokemoncenter.com web site.
If you obtained your Pokémon product after January 1, 2004 and either received it as a promotional item or purchased it at either of these sources, you should stop using it immediately and ensure that children do not have access to it.

| ****Consumers should call 1 (800) 691-8055 to request a kit free of charge that contains a postage-paid return shipping label and a box so that they can return the affected product.
TOMY will include a refund request form in the kit consumers will receive.
Consumers will need to fill out the form, sign it, and include it with the affected product that is sent back for refund.
Once TOMY has received the returned product and confirmed that it is part of the voluntary recall, a refund of the purchase price and any applicable taxes and/or shipping and handling costs will be sent by mail.
This process will take approximately 6 weeks after the affected product has been received.
The postage will be paid by TOMY. If TOMY determines that your product is not affected by the recall, TOMY will return the product to you by mail and pay for all shipping and handling costs.
Consumers can also mail the products to our fulfillment center at TOMY Company, Ltd., Box 500, 3 E.
